Sporting event held for Vietnamese students in RoK

The event was held under the sponsorship of the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK and attracted nearly 1,000 Vietnamese students, graduates, and people living residing in the East Asian nation.

They competed in five sports, including men's soccer, badminton, table tennis, chess, and Chinese chess.

Upon addressing the event, Nguyen Dinh Dung, counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, said that this represents the biggest and most anticipated annual event of Vietnamese students in the host country.

The function aims to strengthen solidarity among Vietnamese students, push exchanges between Vietnamese and Korean students, whilst also promoting images of young and dynamic Vietnamese students to international friends, he noted.
