VOV.VN - Members of the Vietnamese national handball team flew to Thailand on February 3 to participate in the Southeast Asian Handball Championships, scheduled to take place from February 4 to 12.
Both male and female athletes will compete against regional rivals from Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, and hosts Thailand in indoor games to be held between February 4 and 8.
They will then continue to vie for medals in beach handball games to take place from February 10 to 12.
The players will take part in a round-robin format in both the men's and women's team categories.
The top teams in each category will then qualify for the semi-final and final rounds.
Vietnamese players aim to win two gold medals, following their hard training throughout the Lunar New Year 2025, to ensure their best performance in the upcoming regional tournament.
