VOV.VN - The Vietnam women’s futsal team will play two international friendlies against the China women’s futsal team as part of their preparations for the upcoming SEA Games 33 in Thailand next month.
To gear up for the tournament, the Vietnamese squad began training in Hangzhou, China, on November 27. This crucial stage allows the coaching staff to assess players’ form, refine tactics, and select the optimal squad for the regional competition.
After arriving on the morning of November 28, head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang led the team through their first training session that afternoon.
The delegation includes 16 players, featuring two recent additions: 2024 Vietnam Golden Ball winner Tran Thi Thuy Trang and K’Thua, who recently competed with Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Club in the group stage of the 2025-2026 AFC Women’s Champions League.
During the Hangzhou training camp, Vietnam will face China in friendlies scheduled for November 30 and December 5. These matches provide valuable opportunities for match practice, tactical experimentation, and adjusting game tempo ahead of SEA Games 33.
Regarding recent domestic preparations, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said, “The coaching staff is very satisfied with the team’s focus and commitment in every session. Our players performed well in two domestic friendlies, executing tactical objectives effectively and consistently.”
