After being put forward for the prize, the Vietnamese coach will compete against nine other foreign coaches from Argentina, Spain, and Portugal, with futsalplanet.com set to announce the winner of the prestigious award.
The nomination comes after Minh successful led club team Thai Son Nam to win both the Vietnam Futsal League 2020 and the Futsal National Championship - HDBank 2020.
This success marks the fifth consecutive national league title for Thai Son Nam, with the club set to automatically advance to the group stage of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, which has been postponed until early 2021.
This comes after 2018 saw Thai Son Nam goalkeeper Ho Van Y nominated as one of the world’s top ten futsal goalkeepers, with coach Miguel Rodrigo of Thai Son Nam also being named among the world’s top 10 coaches.
