VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national futsal team have risen two places to reach 37th place in the world, according to the latest Futsal World Ranking released on October 13.
This increase can be attributed to their victory over the Republic of Korea to earn a ticket to progress to the final round of AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024.
In terms of Southeast Asia, the Vietnamese team ranked second, just behind Thailand at 26th position in the world. Elsewhere, the third place in the region went to Indonesia, who were ranked 40th in the world.
The Asian region saw the top position go to Iran, followed by Japan and Uzbekistan.
