
VOV.VN - Bamboo Airways opened three new air routes on April 28 heading to Phu Cat Airport in Quy Nhon city in the south-central province of Binh Dinh.
The additions include flights to Quy Nhon from the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, along with journeys departing from Da Lat city and Thanh Hoa.
In line with the move, the airline will offer five round-trip flights on the Quy Nhon-Can Tho route each week, three round-trip flights on the Quy Nhon-Thanh Hoa route every week, in addition to four round-trip flights on the Quy Nhon- Da Lat route.
At present, Phu Cat Airport serves a total of seven domestic routes.
Upon addressing the opening ceremony, Lam Hai Giang, vice chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, noted that the launching of the new routes will contribute to promoting social-economic development within the locality.
Indeed, the latest flight routes will serve to attract more tourists to Quy Nhon and Binh Dinh, with the primary aim of realizing its goal of welcoming four million arrivals by air in 2021, with this figure growing to eight 8 million by 2025.

Bamboo Airways on February 4 operated its first flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Rach Gia city in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang, using Embraer 195 aircraft.
