The delegation, made up of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, arrived in the city to attend the ‘Vietnam National Convention 2022’ running with the theme of “Better together”, with the function being organised by Business Connections Asia Vietnam.
According to a representative of the Danang Department of Tourism, the domestic MICE market has been attracting the attention of various travel operators.
Since the start of the year, the central city has welcomed a number of MICE delegations, indicating positive signal for the ongoing tourism market recovery.
The MICE policy is a pioneering idea of the Da Nang tourism strategy for 2022, with a view to supporting related MICE service providers and aiding local tourism recovery.
According to terms of the policy, MICE groups consisting of over 700 guests are welcomed at the airport, and also receive souvenirs from local authorities.
