VOV.VN - The central city of Da Nang has welcomed a MICE group from QuantumEdge Capital India, marking the city’s first international MICE arrivals of 2026.
In the early days of the new year, Da Nang received a group of 160 MICE travelers from QuantumEdge Capital India, who are staying in the city and taking part in sightseeing and experiential activities from January 11 to January 15, 2026.
The group is among the first international MICE delegations to visit Da Nang this year, underscoring the destination’s growing appeal in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions segment.
The delegation was operated by ASEAN DMC, a Singapore-based travel company, in coordination with Asia Star Travel Co., Ltd. The programme was designed to combine MICE activities with experiences of Da Nang’s signature tourism products and services.
On this occasion, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center under the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organised an official welcome for the group at the Rosamia Hotel on January 11, 2026.
The activity was part of Da Nang’s 2026 MICE tourism promotion programme, aimed at promoting the city as a professional, friendly and experience-rich MICE destination to international markets.
In 2026, Da Nang’s MICE tourism promotion programme is being implemented under the theme “Da Nang – Elevating your MICE experience”, running from January 1 to December 31, 2026.
Through the programme, the city aims to attract and support nearly 93,000 MICE visitors in 2026, up about 12% compared with 2025, thus further reinforcing Da Nang’s position as an attractive MICE destination in the region and internationally.
