VOV.VN - Tourists visiting Ho Chi Minh City will have the chance to take part in a new pilot training tour at a cost of VND4.39 million (US$191), following which they will be given a certificate confirming their completion of the course.
BAA Training is one of the three leading independent aviation training centres from the EU. It has developed a reputation for organising Airbus 320 training courses for individual trainees, as well as for employees of major airlines.
Each tourist takes on the role of a pilot trainee for an hour as they practice in a simulator that replicates the cockpit of an Airbus 320.
The simulator offers tourists a unique and interesting experience of what it is like to work in the cockpit.
In a training room, tourists are guided on the technical adjustments required, and provided with information about the aircraft engine system.
Following the initial tutorial, each tourist will then be made a pilot trainee for an hour as they work in a cockpit simulator of an Airbus 320.
Tourists can experience controlling the cockpit and flying the plane under various weather conditions.
Participants can attempt to take off from famous global airports such as John F. Kennedy in New York, Charles de Gaulle in Paris, and Changi in Singapore, or any other airports in the simulator’s database.
Trainers will be nearby in order to assist the tourists during their pilot training tour.
Upon completion, participants will receive certificates for their training hours, take a photo alongside their trainers, and visit the training centre. The cost of the tour is from VND4.39 million (US$191). This fee includes transportation, the cost for the mock-up, the training and the certificate.
