VOV.VN - The U.K.'s Time Out magazine has ranked Hoi An, an ancient town in central Quang Nam province, among the world's top 10 most romantic destinations.
Accordingly, Hoi An came in at fourth in the list.
According to Time Out, the ancient city’s famous lantern-lined streets are an idyllic spot in which to enjoy twilight walks and candid conversations, backed by well-preserved historic Vietnamese architecture which tells plenty of stories.
“The town’s lantern boat rides are the thing of romantic dreams – a tremendous combination of natural delicacy and impressive confidence – while Hoi An also has one of the best cocktail scenes in the country,” it stressed.
Back in 2022, Hoi An was also honoured in the list of the Top 21 most romantic places in the world to visit on Valentine's Day by the magazine.
Other places included in Time Out’s list were Venice of Italy, Niagara Falls of Canada/US, Marrakech of Morocco, Paris of France, Zanzibar of Tanzania, Prague of the Czech Republic, Kyoto of Japan, and Montreal of Canada.
