Hoi An to host first hot air balloon festival

As many as 17 hot air balloons featuring numerous distinctive shapes and colours will be put on display on the banks of the Hoai river to allow visitors to visit and snap photographs.

The balloons are scheduled to go up between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and again between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on March 25, as well as between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. on March 26.

The National Tourism Year 2022 is due to kick off in the central province of Quang Nam on March 25, with the festival being one part of celebratory activities.
