This was the third international cruise call to the province since the start of 2026. Most passengers were from the United States, Canada and several other countries. Arriving from Singapore, the ship remained in Khanh Hoa for the day, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

After disembarking, visitors joined tours organised by local travel companies, visiting key attractions such as the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Long Son Pagoda and Dam Market, as well as taking part in experiences including visits to traditional craft villages, boat trips along the Cai River and countryside cycling. The itineraries combine cultural and historical sites with local lifestyle experiences.

The Diamond Princess is scheduled to depart Cam Ranh International Port later the same day, continuing its voyage to Phu My Port.

Since the beginning of 2026, Khanh Hoa has received three international cruise ships, with more than 7,650 passengers coming ashore. According to cruise operators’ registrations, the province expects to welcome 39 international cruise calls this year.

The Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said the continued arrival of international cruise ships is seen as a positive sign for the recovery and growth of the province’s cruise tourism sector, showing effective use of port infrastructure and the potential to attract higher-value cruise visitors in the period ahead.

Cruise ship Piano Land brings foreign tourists to Khanh Hoa
