VOV.VN - An international luxury cruise ship named Dream Cruise, which belongs to Chengzhen Cruise Ship, docked at the Ha Long International Cruise Port in the northern province of Quang Ninh on January 26.
The cruise ship brought with it roughly 400 international visitors, with the majority being Chinese tourists, to Quang Ninh province.
This marks the first time that the Dream Cruise ship has returned to Ha Long since COVID-19 with the journey from Sanya in China to Ha Long.
During the two-day stay in Ha Long, foreign tourists are expected to explore Ha Long Bay, take a city tour to discover local culture and cuisine, as well as visiting some neighbouring localities.
According to the schedule, from now until March, the Dream Cruise will conduct at least one trip to Ha Long each week, depending on the number of travelers who choose to book tours.
According to the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, about 60 international ships carrying some 80,000 tourists will register to visit Ha Long International Cruise Port with world-famous brands such as Mein Schiff 6 and 5, Celebrity Solstice, Noordam, MSC Splendida, and Westerdam.
This year, the province is striving to attract between 17 million and 20 million visitors, including three million international visitors, with total tourism revenue reaching VND39,100 billion
