The Ministry of Transport has recently sent a document to the Vietnam Maritime Administration, allowing Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port to receive the international cruise ship Viking Orion.
The Ministry notes that the port will only be allowed to receive the cruise ship as it ensures the safety of passengers on board, maritime safety and security, fire prevention, and environmental protection.
Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port JSc is required to devise a plan aimed at regulating traffic flow to ensure absolute safety for passengers during the process of receiving the cruise ship.
Viking Orion is a cruise ship operated by Viking Ocean Cruises. The ship was built by Fincantieri at their shipyard in Ancona, Italy.
The vessel was first delivered to Viking Cruises in 2018 and quickly became a symbol of luxury, attracting tourists who love to explore the world.
