VOV.VN - The Government has allowed Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh province to accept foreign citizens with electronic visas.
A Government decision to this effect was recently signed by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh.
Van Don is the latest in the list of local airports that are allowed to offer custom clearance to foreign citizens applying e-visas to enter or exit Vietnam.
Other airports are Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi minh City), Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa), Da Nang (Da Nang), Cat Bi (Hai Phong), Can Tho (Can Tho), Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) and Phu Bai (Thua Thien-Hue).
VOV.VN - Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh province received 301 passengers on September 23, all of whom had vaccine passports on board one Vietnam Airlines flight which had departed from France.
Bamboo Airways has resumed flights linking HCM City with Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh, according to a representative from the hybrid carrier.
