VOV.VN - A Vietnamese delegation recently took part in the ARA Art Camp 2026 cultural exchange programme in Mongolia to showcase the country’s contemporary art and strengthen cultural exchanges with artists from around the world.
The delegation, led by painter Nguyen Mai Huong, participated in the events from June 30 to July 7, highlighting Vietnam's contemporary art scene and fostering international artistic collaboration.
ARA Art Camp is an international arts and culture event organised by ARA Complex in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia, the Governor’s Office of Arkhangai province, and the Mongolian Guild of Artisans. It aims to foster cultural exchange, foster artistic creativity, and expand international cooperation among artists worldwide.
The presence of the Vietnamese delegation at ARA Art Camp 2026 helped promote Vietnamese fine arts at an international cultural exchange featuring artists from 18 countries and territories worldwide.
During the event, artists engaged in creative work, exchanges, and activities to experience local cultures. This presented an opportunity to enhance mutual understanding, foster cultural dialogue, and build enduring artistic partnerships among the participating nations.
Organisers invited painter Nguyen Mai Huong, who is also chairwoman of the Asian Artists Association’s Vietnamese branch, to the New Horizons art exhibition slated for July 8-9 in Ulaanbaatar. Huong joined the exhibition with the work "Vital Current" alongside works by artists from across the world, introducing contemporary Vietnamese art to a broader international audience.
“I hope this trip will open up more opportunities for meaningful cooperation and exchanges between Vietnamese artists and our international partners in the future,” Huong said.
VOV.VN - A special concert night titled Crescendo-Symphony of Connection, part of the Music Festival & Competition 2026 series was held in Hanoi on July 4 at the Octagonal Pavilion by Hoan Kiem Lake, as part of the capital’s efforts to bring art closer to the public.
