VOV.VN - The price of gold rings in Vietnam rose by VND1 million on September 25 morning to reach a record high of VND82.5 million per tael, driven by rising global prices, according to local media reports.
Doji Group bought and sold gold rings at VND81.45 million and VND82.5 million per tael on the opening trading session of the day, marking an increase of VND850,000 compared to the previous trading session.
Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) in Ho Chi Minh City increased its gold ring prices to VND80.8 million per tael for buying and VND82.3 million per tael for selling, a VND800,000 and VND1 million rise compared to yesterday’s close, respectively.
At the same time, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at VND81.38 million and VND82.48 million per tael for buying and selling, respectively, up around VND840,000 per tael from the transactions carried out on September 24.
Meanwhile, gold bar prices remained stable at VND83.5 million per tael.
SJC listed each tael of SJC gold bar at VND81.5 million and VND83.5 million per tael.
Gold ring prices are predicted to continue rising moving forward amid increasing global gold prices due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
