While presenting the First Prize and delivering remarks at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and appreciated the tremendous contributions of media agencies, veteran journalists, and generations of media professionals to the revolutionary cause of the nation. He also pays deep tribute to those who dedicated, and even sacrificed their lives for the cause of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism.
While presenting the First Prize and delivering remarks at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and appreciated the tremendous contributions of media agencies, veteran journalists, and generations of media professionals to the revolutionary cause of the nation.  From nearly 2,000 submissions, the judging panel shortlists 183 entries in the preliminary round before selecting 128 outstanding journalistic works for awards, including 13 first prizes, 27 second prizes, 49 third prizes, and 39 consolation prizes.
